Editorial Intern
As an Editorial Intern at Ateema Media & Marketing, I played a key role in enhancing the digital presence of Concierge Preferred, a publication focused on Chicago’s tourism and hospitality industry. I helped develop comprehensive SEO documentation to optimize website content, ensuring best practices were implemented for long-term success. In addition, I managed the weekly newsletter, handling everything from content creation and design to audience engagement, with a focus on maximizing open rates. I also worked closely with PR firms to craft articles and press materials, amplifying visibility for local businesses. One of my major projects involved transitioning the magazine’s digital and print content to an Axios-style format, making articles more concise, engaging, and reader-friendly.

During my time as a Staff Writer at XOXO Fashion Magazine, I wrote over 50 published articles spanning fashion, celebrity news, wellness, and beauty. I covered major cultural events, including New York Fashion Week, art gallery openings, and restaurant launches, producing timely, engaging content under tight deadlines. My role also involved conducting interviews with designers, industry experts, and influencers, allowing me to craft in-depth, insightful stories that connected audiences with emerging trends. Digital Communications Intern
As a Digital Communications Intern for the Village of Mount Prospect, I worked closely with local government departments to produce weekly newsletters and press releases, keeping residents informed about important events and community updates. I also took the lead on revamping the Village’s social media strategy, creating an organized content calendar for Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Facebook to ensure consistent and engaging communication. By developing original social media content, tracking analytics, and optimizing engagement, I helped strengthen the Village’s online presence. Additionally, I collaborated with a small team to research and draft a municipal marketing campaign aimed at attracting new businesses and residents to the area, incorporating digital content and creative strategy to enhance outreach efforts.
